Making Good on Your Promises

If the last two weeks have reminded us of anything, it’s that it is never a good idea to promise to do extreme things if the world doesn’t work out limbaugh costa ricathe way you should. Threats to set oneself on fire, leave the country, or otherwise do drastic things unless your wishes are followed not only betray the arrogance of the speaker, they destroy credibility of a person when they don’t follow through. I certainly don’t want to see anyone self-immolate over marriage equality, but I am waiting for Rush Limbaugh to announce his new citizenship. I am not holding my breath, mind you, but I am waiting.
