I have written about this before, but given that the geniuses in Texas want to start teaching everything anybody holds to be true as a fact in schools – including the belief that Moses was one of the founding fathers of the United States – it bears saying again. No opinion, no matter how sincerely held, is equivalent to a fact. Moses is a mythological character. Even is he was a historical character, he would have died thousands of years before the Constitution of the United States was written. Don’t worry, Texas, we aren’t going to invade. It wouldn’t be worth the effort.
