I’m a big music fan. It always makes me laugh when I watch concert video on YouTube and the inevitable trolls start pointing out how the singer’s voice isn’t as strong as it was twenty years ago. I have a news flash for people – ain’t nothing on nobody that’s as strong as it was twenty years ago if you are over the age of thirty-five. It’s just not realistic. Since Americans love to criticize (and, it would seem, those who can’t actually do something love to criticize it even more), we tend to live a life of disappointment because nothing is the way we, in our profound wisdom, believe it should be. That’s quite a miserable existence, in my opinion. Wouldn’t it be better to believe that everything is just the way it is supposed to be in this moment, and appreciate it on that level? After all, yesterday isn’t coming back~
