Life very seldom works out the way we imagined it might. In everyone’s life, twists and turns both positive and negative pop up and seemingly change our course. Quite often, however, when we look back after some time has passed, we see that even the things that seemed to be setbacks in fact offered opportunities we might otherwise never have had. That’s not to say those setbacks didn’t also involve some discomfort, but it is to say we still were able to move forward in the most important way possible – though making a difference in someone’s life. In the end, those are the things we are remembered for and which allow us to live on in a very concrete way in the lives of others.
