It is important to realize that everything changes. I’m speaking not of a superficial realization, but of the deep realization that comes from many hours of pondering the fullness of the teaching. Doing so will help you learn to let go of the little injuries and insults that don’t really matter and learn to fully appreciate the things that do matter. Above all, you will discover that the most important task of the spiritual journey is learning to listen.
