I suppose all of us, at one time or another, are tempted to stretch the truth – sometimes beyond the breaking point. It seems that in contemporary society truth has become a disposable commodity not unlike so much used toilet paper. Sooner or later we all learn that our integrity is worth more than any possible benefit we might gain from lying. For many people, it seems that lesson is being delayed later and later into life. I wonder if we will be able to trust anyone ten years from now…
