Interpretation

I have learned that if one hundred people hear a talk I give, there will be at least one hundred one interpretations. It doesn’t matter how objectivitycarefully I explain my message, it still happens – largely because our attention is fractured. One of the most important benefits of a mindfulness practice is that, over time, we become better able to actually hear what is said and see what is in front of us.
