Needs

Ultimately, we are all responsible for getting our own needs met because, sooner or later, even the person we trust the most will let us down in our hour of need – even if only because of their own discomfort. That’s why it’s important to have a diverse array of relationships, to not “put all our eggs in one basket” as the saying goes. It’s also why, no matter how wonderful our primary relationship is, it’s extremely important to have friends with whom we can share our problems, concerns, and celebrations!
