Last night I was at our new home waiting for our new clothes dryer to be delivered. We aren’t staying there overnight yet – that comes Friday – so I was just be waiting. I can remember when I despised waiting for something to be delivered or for a repairman to show up. I saw it as a waste of time. Now I actually enjoy the quiet and the chance to just be. Every moment spent waiting is a potential moment spent in spiritual practice. When viewed that way, there is no such thing as wasted time!
