We had our first significant snowfall of the season yesterday and with it many traffic accidents, some of them fatal. If the way people who should know better drive in snow is any indication, people believe they are invincible. It a particularly deadly delusion that reflects a larger denial of death that is as much a spiritual deficit as anything else.
