At the risk of stating the obvious, our culture has a profoundly unhealthy preoccupation with our physical selves – our weight, the size of clothing we wear, and everything related to it. We have people who don’t eat enough and people who eat too much. We have food that is nutritious and food that isn’t, and almost as many opinions about what we should be eating as there are people who eat it. Who is right? The truth is that even nutritionists change their advice. The first thing we have to do is accept and love our bodies as they are right now. If we don’t, nothing else we do will matter.
