Forasmuch as we crave the spiritual “mountain top” experiences, transformation doesn’t occur on the top of the mountain. Transformation occurs when we have returned to daily life and put the insights from the top of the mountain into practice. This means that what it really important is daily life. When we find ourselves wishing life was more spectacular, we should remember where the real work occurs! The path IS the goal.
