Many contemporary people have decided that since there is not reason to believe God will come flying down like a superhero and rescue us from our problems that God must not exist. That’s fine, if that’s the way you see it. However, we need to seriously examine the possibility that the traditional, pre-scientific view of God couldn’t possibly work in today’s world – and that doesn’t mean there isn’t Divinity or Holiness, but rather that It has always been found within humanity and in fact everything that exists.
