Daily Teaching for Thursday, March 7th

When we find ourselves reacting to something in a way that seems out of proportion to that thing – for example, when a button pops off of our shirt and we have a complete melt down – there are two considerations. The first is whether or not we are very tired or otherwise stressed, in which case some rest is in order. The other is that we may be reacting to something the airborne button reminds us of. This is known as being triggered, and we may need the help of a trained professional to uncover the underlying issue – but the effort is well worth it!
