The holidays are wonderful times for many of us, and a struggle for many of us as well. Often we try to re-create past holiday experiences that didn’t go well in the hopes of it being different this time around – a wish that almost never comes true. A better solution would be to choose to surround ourselves with people we enjoy and who enjoy us (whether or not they are biological family) and so create new memories with a new family!
