Daily Teaching for Monday, July 23rd

We often make the idea of letting go too small. We think we need to let go of this or let go of that, but perhaps we need to learn to let go of most everything. I used to get very angry when I got caught in a traffic jam, but when I realized that getting angry didn’t change anything I realized that my anger accomplished nothing but making me more miserable I was able to choose to just accept being stuck in traffic. Imagine what might happen if we learned to choose to accept most of the little things that have become our pet peeves as just part of life and not allow ourselves to get all worked up.
